Unexpectedly, a passerby in a used car lot noticed a little, pink animal scouting the area. He picked up the animal and transported him to the refuge.
Dave, the CEO of the business, initially thought the creature was a bald cat! But after spending a moment examining the critter more attentively, it became clear that it was a bald opossum.
The animal required rapid warming. When the opossum began to gain weight, Dave and a few other volunteers began to help. It is uncertain how long the animal was separated from his mother because he was still a young animal.
The animal was given a range of delicacies to eat, and he enthusiastically ate every sweet. They had several warm bags and coats manufactured for him. Only a few weeks have passed since the baby opossum first started living in the wild, but he has already gained weight and will soon be ready to meet the other opossums in the group.
The animals were given a separate space with lots of space for moving about and taking naps. Thankfully, everything ended well.
