Meet the inspirational woman who has dedicated her life to saving elephants.

Daphnee was a unique person. She undoubtedly discovered her passion and relished in the things she valued, we can say with certainty. Elephants have dominated her life. Daphnee was born and raised in Kenya.

When she was a little child, she had a profound connection to nature. Early in the 1950s, Daphnee met Dave and realized she had finally found her true love.

By this time, Dave had already founded the Park in Kenya.

Along with the elephants, other species began to appear in the park as it grew. Local and foreign donors provided Dave and Daphnee with assistance. Daphnee has a soft spot in her heart for elephants.

Among these creatures, she made a lot of new friends. The elephants showed great consideration to Daphnee. This partnership was unbreakable. In the 1970s, Daphnee lost her spouse. She faithfully and lovingly carried on her husband’s work till the end of her life.

At the age of 83, Daphnee died in 2018.

Over the course of its existence, The Park has transformed into much more than simply a refuge and safe haven for animals; it has also become a genuine home for its personnel.
