Jana saved an elderly cat who was content to spend the day snoozing by itself. Until he came to discover this kitty, that is. When Jana first discovered Philip, he was stranded outside of an apartment complex that had been abandoned for more than a year.
Luckily for Jana, Philip was cordial. He was only taken to their rescue facility. As soon as Philip received treatment, he was able to fully recover. They then noticed Philip wasn’t as young as he seemed to be. They saw that Philip had a sincere need for solitude and showed no inclination to socialize with the other rescued cats.
Jana accepted Philip’s apparent need for solitude.
Philip’s existence was soon disturbed, though, when a lively cat invaded their lives. Then the most amazing thing happened! Ruby found Philip to be fascinating.
Philip was first uneasy, but Ruby continued anyway. Eventually, Philip fell in and started playing with Ruby, appearing to be planning what this tiny cat would do next.
This is evidence that without friends, we would all feel lonely.
