A juvenile male bear and a she-wolf were captured together in the woodlands of northern Finland by 55-year-old wildlife photographer Lassin Rautiainn. According to the photographer, the animals were regularly seen together and exhibited no hostile behavior.
On the contrary, they frequently ate together while forming a deer. This is unusual because bears and wolves are polar opposites and cannot stand one another.
Lassin kept an eye on the pair for 10 days. He said that he doesn’t know why they get along so well, but he thinks it may have started when they were both very small and shared feeding gave them the strength to survive.
Lassin is unaware of any other such incidents, at least not in Europe. Occasionally, you might see cubs from different species become friends in zoos. There are exceptions to every rule, but this event is not observed in the wild.
This tale demonstrates how, when it comes to friendship, animals frequently disregard outward characteristics or even species. Humans should unquestionably learn it as well.
