She had a difficult past, which made Roger a quite special kitten. Mamie, a volunteer, decided she had to become involved as soon as she saw a picture of Roger at the beginning of December.

This tuxedo cat was rather apprehensive to interact with his new parents, so he spent approximately a week hiding from them.

His human parents were shocked when he went up to the dog and sat down next to him on the couch, insisting on being his friend.
She started hugging and patting her dog friend every day from that point on since the friendly dog’s presence actually helped Roger feel peaceful. The dog’s company gave this little cat social confidence, and she began to appreciate Grandma’s and her companion’s affection. What a sweet tale.
