The man traveled along the shore looking for the best place to dive. He was abruptly drawn to a strange white object in the distance. The diver realized he was gazing at a four-meter-long enormous squid as he drew nearer.
Over the weekend, Dave had planned to meet up with his brothers and go scuba diving. The brother pointed to something near the river and inquired as to what it was.
In retrospect, Dave remembered, “We checked and found a giant squid.” When seen up close, the squid was plainly bigger than any of his cousins.
According to a tape measure they had retrieved from the automobile, the squid may reach a length of 4 meters.
The biologist from the nearby maritime institution replied to the picture (the brothers posted the find on the net).
He stated that the lone Architeuthis sp. specimen found on the coast was a little one. These creatures have a 13-meter height limit.
The specialist went on to say that the men probably found a juvenile member of the species. The squid has already been delivered to the research center for examination. What a wonder.
