A young girl shares her sorrow after losing her dog in a heartfelt letter to her teacher.

Teacher Laura teaches fifth grade. She routinely told all of her student’s stories about her dog’s life. A doctor’s examination after the dog’s condition suddenly began to deteriorate revealed a tumor.

Laura felt she couldn’t keep what had happened from the kids, so she told them everything when she went to work.

I had to explain everything to them since they could see I was unhappy.

Since I frequently discussed him and frequently showed them pictures and videos, Laura continues, they were aware of the puppy.

One of the kids did see that their instructor needed assistance. He had written Laura a letter and included a poem for her dog before the conclusion of the school day.

“Most importantly, I know your dog is special, and your dog is in a better place and looking over you,” the youngster concludes in the message.

Laura knew she needed some alone time that day, so she decided to read the letter at home.

When she arrived at school, she praised the kid in front of the entire class for his help and used him as an example of the kind of behavior that good people should exhibit toward one another.
