Animals and humans both exhibit maternal love. They are compelled to protect their kids at any cost. After a tough life, a refuge for animals saved this cow. To live a happy life, she was brought to the reserve.
Even though the cow was allowed to unwind and spend her final years in peace, the anguish of her previous life never left her. When the reserve’s staff learned that the cow was once again pregnant, this became extremely clear.
It was surprising yet thrilling at the same time for the cow. She tried to protect herself by becoming more and more withdrawn prior to giving birth. The group came to the conclusion that the cow was trying to hide something from them. The cow nervously looked over the terrain. Then, people made the decision to go see what was there.
They ventured quite a distance into the grass before they upon a calf!
The cow was shielding her newborn calf from onlookers in the thick grass after giving delivery. It appears that the cow had learned her lesson from the past and wanted to make sure that no one would ever take her child away again.
The team did everything they could to stop the cow from taking the calf. The calf is now an adult, yet she still has a close bond with her mother.
