Kieran Rhodes walked onto the America’s Got Talent stage as a nervous young singer and pianist, planning to perform Billy Joel’s “She’s Got a Way.” But just moments into the performance, Simon Cowell stopped him.
Instead of sending Kieran away, Simon asked if he had an original song. Kieran decided to take the risk and perform “Disengage,” a deeply personal song he had written during a difficult period in his life.
