Sixteen-year-old Breanna Lee Wilson walked onto the Australia’s Got Talent stage hoping to share her love of music and culture. But nerves quickly took over. While performing Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colours,” Breanna became overwhelmed and had to stop the audition.
With encouragement from the judges, her family, and the audience, Breanna found the courage to start again. This time, she delivered a powerful performance — including part of the song in Wemba Wemba, her traditional language.
The audience gave her a standing ovation, and the judges were visibly moved. Then David Walliams pressed the Golden Buzzer, sending Breanna straight through to the semi-finals. What began with tears ended with golden confetti and an unforgettable celebration.
