Mompha’s money was allegedly hidden in immovable assets,’ according to accusations made by Nigeria’s anti-corruption agency earlier this month. Mompha has pled not guilty to all of the counts leveled against him. He has been remanded in detention until his trial. According to local media, he was then freed on a £350,000 bond.
