The senior dog at the shelter appreciates getting a birthday present.

This dog lived much of his life with a loving family, playing in the park nearby and enjoying his owners’ companionship. The dog noticed his heading to a dog shelter when his previous owner’s attention was no longer on him.

Boba was characterized as “firey, lively, kind, free, sensitive, quiet, and he barks like an elderly person” by the sanctuary’s owner. Now that he is older and more developed, Boba need more sleep than the average young child.

Boba likes sleeping, and he has a right to do so.

He will “drop off wherever, anytime,” according to the shelter’s owner, “on the kitchen floor, on a cushion, or on the biggest, most comfy bed in the corner.”

The staff at the animal shelter did some renovations in celebration of Boba’s birthday and offered him the two things he enjoys most in life: treats and a snooze.

Each dog feels special since the owner conducts celebrations to mark every imaginable event with the animals under their care.

Boba will have many more birthdays as a result of people who care for him.
