This took place in Spain. She was just 10 months old when she arrived in poor condition at the shelter. Although her origin is unknown, animal rights activists found out she had been abandoned.
The dog was given the nickname Pasta—a play on the word pasta—because of how skinny she was.
Edvardo, the owner of the shelter, made the decision to rescue the cat and provide Pasta with the attention that she needed.
When she first arrived at the shelter, she weighed just 7 pounds, 200 grams; today, her weight is about triple what it was. Few, however, believed that her therapy would be effective because she was unable to move other than her head and tail.
She would not have endured another night on the streets, according to Edvardo, who claimed that in all of his years of experience, he has never seen a dog in such a condition. After a few weeks, all of the problems with pasta were fixed.
She is now a resident of her rescuer’s home and has forged friendships with five of his other pets. Fortunately, the story has a happy conclusion, and the dog is in good health.
