Lay the ginger cat, who was abandoned by his devoted owners, now has new owners and people as his new best buddy! When he met Adam, his tiny human, at his new home, he became his guardian and lifetime best friend.
Adam’s mother said, “I had always wanted a cat, so I had no qualms in adopting him,” when a friend’s veterinarian had to let out 2-year-old Lay for sneaking into their supply closet.
I said, “He was exactly as fantastic as everyone had always said orange cats were.”
The instant Adam got home, Lay fell in love. Adam often got his first chuckles and grins from Lay. At the age of nine months, Adam’s first word was “Layo.” Adam is being consoled by Lay, who rushes to his side.
