The tale of a cute cat seen wandering the streets of Carolina alone was changed when he was found by two police officers doing routine patrols. When officers observed the little fur ball, they made the decision to pull over and help it.
Since they believe he has been lost, police have been searching the whole region for his mother or any other relatives who could be keeping an eye on him.
They looked all around the area, but nobody showed up to claim it. Officers looked around but were unable to find the kitten’s mother or owner, they wrote on Facebook.
The officers couldn’t leave him because he was alone himself and had nowhere to go, so they carried him around all day. The little cat decided that this was the best place to join her rescuers and quickly climbed onto their shoulders.
He was kind and animated in between embraces. Short, happy meows from the cat filled the officer’s shoulders, as though it were thanking them and feeling comfortable in their care.
