The dog won’t leave his wounded pregnant friend’s side until help arrives.

At the end of January, a dog was reported to be lying by the side of the road by an animal rescue group. The dog did not even try to rise up; instead, it stood motionless. The service staff noticed a red fluffy dog close to her. He sat there for hours, waiting for help while gazing at moving cars.

The lifeguard who responded to the call stated that the dog’s condition was severe. She was in agonizing pain and gasping for air.

The dog’s survival was uncertain to Faith. Her canine guardian pursued the rescuers when they tried to put the dog in the car because he did not want to leave his companion for even a moment.

He sat down and put his head on the canine’s enormous belly. At the veterinary facility where they were transferred, the dogs had x-rays. In addition to a number of broken bones, doctors also found an unexpected bonus: eleven puppies that were still in the womb. A few days later, the dog gave birth to a litter.

She tried to give the puppies as much care as she could despite the constant pain in her paws, and the dog was usually there.

The dog’s recovery took over two years. Thanks to the foster family’s care and the help of doctors, the dog was able to fully recover.

She is “just as wonderful and stunning as the day we first got her home,” according to her new owners. The canine jumps and plays as if she had never been hurt.
