A man went to a shelter to adopt a dog but left with a kitten instead since he had never been fond of cats.

A man from Alabama who declared himself to be a great dog lover—rather than a cat lover—made the wise choice to adopt a pet and went to the shelter two years ago. He had really hoped to get a dog, but instead, he got a really adorable cat.

Fewer personnel are reportedly available to attend the shelter due of the heavy snow. The man decided that getting a pet would be beneficial, preferring a puppy because he disliked cats. But by the time he got there, all the puppies had been claimed.

There were very few cats left. He named the feline Bray. In just two years, she went from being a little kitten to a large, gorgeous brown cat. Six months after he had successfully gotten Bray out of the shelter, the guy brought home a dog, a puppy that he called Rebert.

Right instantly, Rebert and Bray hit it off, and they’ve remained friends and shared a bed ever since. I have the closest of friendships with Rebert.

They get along nicely with my girlfriend’s two cats as well. We have a nice life.
