It is often believed that cats make highly devoted moms who do marvels at their children. This is only one of the numerous examples of such compassion and commitment. One early morning at one of the New Zealand veterinary clinics, something extraordinary happened.

A box containing kittens less than a month old was on the porch as the physicians arrived at work.
In the post-Soviet region, this is a common occurrence, but in New Zealand, it was a major thing, and veterinarians would never let themselves to leave kittens at people’s doorsteps.

They brought them so that they might be inspected and receive the help they required. But after that, the miracles kept happening. The next day, they saw that a tabby cat tries to sneak inside the clinic every time the door opens.
The doctors correctly assumed that the cat was the mother of the kittens they had saved at that point.

The moment the cat entered the room, she went straight to her babies and began to feed them. An amazing and moving story that highlights the power of mother instinct.
The mothering instinct probably helped the cat find its way to safety and learn where her young live.
