Jay Smith saved a stray cat 10 years ago, and he named it Tinge. The baby was carried home by Jay’s daughter, who breastfed it and intended to nurture it for the rest of her life. Tinge moved a few months later, but she stayed with her father, who was working for a contracting firm at the time.
The man who had taken on the role of the cat’s full-time foster parent had a genuine desire to be retained. At 6:30 o’clock Tinge jumps into my lap, settles down, and starts to purr. I start my day at 7:00 a.m.
Owner Jay continues, “It seems like he understands everything and has the same feelings as me.”
“Tinge will be waiting for the man at the door when he gets home for lunch,” said the man. Jay cradles him with his paws stretched out when he finishes his food and warms it up.
On occasion, the cat may fall asleep soundly while curled up on Jay’s lap.
Tinge follows Jay around the home all the time.
The man was extraordinarily lucky to be at the right spot at the right moment when he discovered Tinge!
