Because they might find it challenging to move around on their own, animals with disabilities may have a difficult time adjusting to life. But fortunately, there are compassionate individuals prepared to step in and assist, using a little imagination to grant these animals the independence they require.

A humane group recently gave a customized wheelchair to a baby lamb to help her live. Because lambs are dependent on their mothers for nutrition, Kiki was unable to walk by herself.

Thankfully, the group took the lamb in and promised to give her another chance.
The lamb overcame obstacles and received excellent care, but her rescuers knew she would have to stand on her own.

She has mostly spent her early life lying down and can only comfortably rest on one side of her body, according to the blog post.
