The seal they believed to be on the ice wasn’t there when Arctic fisherman approached it.

The crew of a fishing boat saved an animal from an almost-ice floe, and it was eventually released back into its native environment. One of the fishermen informed reporters that they saw something on an adjacent ice floe when their boat was around seven kilometers from the coast.

At first, they tried to remove the fox from the ice floe with their hands. He did not, however, let anyone come close to him. The fisherman put the fox in a cage filled with sand. When the animal had partially dried out, they gave it a nice treat.

He asserts that he has never seen an animal this far inland. He makes the assumption that the fox was presumably looking for food at the time. He believed the Arctic fox seemed fairly healthy and active when they left him on the coast.

The man is sure that everything will work out for the fox. Because they discovered the fox in time, these fishermen deserve praise. We appreciate all that they did, and we thank them. Amazing, isn’t it?
