A man was taking in the day while relaxing on his veranda when he noticed the amazing sight! The smallest tiny things appear to be rainbows when sunrises contact a hummingbird’s wings while it is in flight.
The man was studying a black hummingbird when he saw the strange expression. It is unlikely that human eyes will be able to notice this prism effect, which is recognized as such. He has always been drawn to these rainbow gems, and in 2011, a short video used some of his hummingbird photos.
But years later, he returned to take another picture of it. The photographer said, “I chose to utilize my camera to capture the same phenomenon.”
It is just light diffraction over the wings of this particular hummingbird; there is no additional technique involved. It is unquestionably a natural secret, though, and cannot be seen with the naked eye. See more of his beautiful images by scrolling down!
