A 26-year-old woman bought a two-story police station, converted it into a home.

In 2018, a 26-year-old woman by the name of Raquel bought a two-story structure that had formerly served as a police station and turned it into her ideal home. The mansion cost her 180,000 pounds. Raquel understood the gravity of the situation.

The structure was built in 1853. Moreover, it was shut down in 1969 when the station changed locations. The interior of the home was exactly the same as it had been 49 years before to the acquisition, including two cells with bars, office rooms with leftover paperwork, etc.

Raquel developed a plan for the remodeling with her boyfriend Mikey and got to work on it. In one of the rooms, Raquel and Mikey made the decision to leave the walls alone.

The concept of performing a worldwide refurbishment in such an odd structure eventually piqued the interest of the creators of the show that now only airs on one of the British television networks. As Raquel and Mikey received assistance from others to complete the job, a little tale about the refurbished house was captured on camera.
