Michael J. Fox pays heartfelt homage to wife Tracy Pollan on their 35th wedding anniversary: ‘Always yours’

Michael J. Fox and his spouse Tracy Pollan are among the most inspirational duos in Hollywood. They have been devotedly married for nearly thirty years, and during the highs and lows of their relationship—especially Fox’s battle with Parkinson’s disease—they have supported one another.

Celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary, the actor gave his devoted wife a moving tribute.

Over the years, the 62-year-old actor from Back to the Future has shared a number of photos of himself and Tracy on social media.

Fox wrote, “35 years of laugher, living, listening, and loving you,” as the picture’s caption. “Many thanks for everything. Mike, you have my undying affection.

“I adore you so much!” Pollan answered in the space provided for comments. She also honored her husband in a message on Instagram:

“My love, congratulations on your anniversary.” Cheers to many more thrilling adventures in the future. She wrote, “I could not be more in love with you.”

In honor of Pollan, who turned sixty-three this month, Fox sent a heartfelt birthday letter that said, “She shows the people she loves the way that she feels, she showers them with love.”

“My love, my best friend, my forever Summer girl, and the most stunning and incredible mother to our four wonderful children.” “I adore you a lot.”

Fox and Pollan were joined in marriage in 1988. On the set of Family Ties, where Pollan played Fox’s Alex P. Keaton’s girlfriend, they initially got to know one another. On the set of Bright Lights, Big City, they reconnected and started dating.

The couple tied the knot on July 16, 1988. Sam, a son, Aquinnah and Schuyler, twin daughters, and Esmé, a daughter, are their four children.

Just a few years after being married, Fox’s life took a depressing turn in 1991 when he learned he had Parkinson’s disease.

Fox stated on The Late Show With David Letterman in 2015, “It was scary.” “It was the last thing I expected to hear when I was 29 years old.” Since my pinkie jerked, I thought I had hurt my shoulder while performing some trick. “You have Parkinson’s disease,” said the physician. “You still have ten years of labor ahead of you, which is good news,” he said.

Fox didn’t want to accept the illness, but he says his wife’s love and encouragement helped him get through the difficult times.

In an interview with Today, Fox stated, “We didn’t know what to expect.” The fact that Tracy didn’t blink at that precise time is one of the reasons I will always adore her.

For the past 35 years, they have consistently shown each other love and support, and their relationship is still going strong.

Pollan told the newspaper, “I think we really listen to each other, we are there for each other when we need each other.” “And then we give each other space when it’s needed.” Simply attempting to be mindful of the situation and what is needed at the moment.

“Tracy gives our family everything they need. She is the source of all that is good in our family and all that we accomplish,” Fox said.

In addition to announcing his acting retirement in 2021, Fox also acknowledged that he was “not gonna be 80” and that his battle with Parkinson’s disease was “getting tougher,” but he was still “happy.”

Fox’s Michael J. Fox Foundation keeps up its great work funding research to find a cure or better treatments for Parkinson’s disease. With over $1 billion in funding for research projects, the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation is the biggest non-profit supporter of Parkinson’s disease research.
