Baby Dev, the 2-Year-Old Math Prodigy, Stuns on America’s Got Talent

At just 2 years old, Devan “Baby Dev” Defreitas made history as the youngest contestant ever on America’s Got Talent (AGT) during its Season 19 premiere. Accompanied by his father, Duane, the toddler math genius wowed the judges and audience with his incredible number skills.

During his audition, Baby Dev quickly solved complex equations on a whiteboard, multiplying and adding numbers with ease. His speed and accuracy left the judges in awe, with Simon Cowell joking that they all needed a calculator.

Baby Dev’s love for numbers started early—his father recalled that at just four months old, he was captivated by math-based shows, crying when the numbers disappeared. By 15 months, he was already writing numbers on his own. His talent has since gained massive attention on social media, with viral videos showcasing his exceptional abilities.

With four “yes” votes from the judges, Baby Dev moves forward in the competition, leaving audiences eager to see what he’ll do next. His performance not only showcased his brilliance but also highlighted the power of nurturing young talent.
