Capsone the dog spent a lot of time at a shelter. He had been wandering for seven years in search of his abandoned owners. He was able to form bonds with several of the animals in the shelter.
However, they were young, little canines who were rather simple to adopt. A few years ago, he did locate the owners, but he did not remain there for more than a year before being sent back to the shelter.
The dog refused to interact with anyone, but with time, he began to trust the staff members of the shelter. The shelter personnel spent a lot of time trying to place him in a home.
Their efforts eventually paid off as his pictures were often circulated on social media. The couple made the choice to adopt the canine.
When they arrived to the shelter to fetch him up, they had even prepared a pendant with her name on it.
Capsone’s capacity to adapt to his new environment worried the shelter workers, but it was clear from their first encounter that the dog was eager to please his new owners.
